OGDEN, Utah, Apr 25, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Utah Technology Council (UTC) has named eSilverBullet's ( www.esilverbullet.com ) Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Adam Ward, Emerging Executive of the Year. The UTC's executive council selected Ward from a pool of 5,700 high-tech companies in Utah for its 2011 award.
The award underscores the success eSilverBullet has achieved as Internet marketing and web development lead for Grow America ( www.growam.com ), innovator of the $1M Springboard business competitions, a national program emerging from Utah to support entrepreneurs and grow jobs throughout the U.S.
In the last three years, eSilverBullet has rocketed from three employees to 22, with Ward leading the way. The company initially began as a software producer of content management systems for affiliate publishers and marketers. It has since become a provider of an online website builder platform, custom web designs and web-based email campaign software for a growing number of regional and national customers.
"UTC likes to help and acknowledge tech startups with the potential to become major companies," Ward said. "I believe that's why they chose us for this award. I am honored to be chosen. For the past two years, Rich Nelson (president of UTC) has been excited to see our numbers steadily rise."
Ward's focus on growth made eSilverBullet a natural choice for Grow America's Internet marketing. His team built the Grow America website and manages the Grow America Springboard Competition's online communications strategy. The competition is poised to give away $1 million in cash awards and services to Utah entrepreneurs between now and the State Championship slated for early 2013.
With Grow America and eSilverBullet moving forward, Ward actively participates in UTC peer-to-peer forums to collaborate with and assist other leading technology executives in Utah.
